Up to 180 RSDs, work pattern negotiable.
The MT SNCO is responsible for the daily operation of the sub-unit MT dept. They are to act as the Unit Licencing Officer (ULO) and control all driver training activity at sub-unit and is expected to be available to support both sub-unit locations throughout the training year. This includes weekly training nights and weekend working as required. Duties include but are not limited to:
1.Maintain Driver Training Records
2.Control the sub-unit fuel account
3.Manage all held white fleet through Clarity.
4.Manage all held green fleet through JAMES.
5.Co-ordinate and control all sub-unit driver training activity.
6.Ensure the MT dept remains current and works within policy as directed.
7.Deliver road safety awareness and training as required.
8.Manage and co-ordinate all MT maintenance activity for both white and green fleet.
9.Lead and develop the MT JNCO throughout their appointment.
10.Remain current and competent commensurate with the appointment.
2.JAMES trained.
3.Cat B, B+E, C & D1 licence holder - with no licence restrictions.
4.Experience of working with the Clarity console.
2.GSDI / GS Driver converter
3.ADR / Dangerous Goods trained.
