Domestic Considerations: 19 RSDs per year, additional ST days are available. Incumbent expected to attend 1 Trg Weekend per month and a 2 week ACT annually.


Position Role: Responsible for the effective administrative and operations management of a Team within a Sqn.


Responsibilities:


1. Liaise with the Sqn HQ to coordinate key J1-J9 functions for the Team.
2. Manage the Team MS matrix and liaise with the Sqn and Unit HQ elements regarding all MS matters.
3. Work closely with the Sqn’s Trg/Ops Offr to ensure the cohesion of Team support to training weekends.
4. Assist the Sqn HQ in the planning and delivery of Annual Continuous Training; Hermes Venture.
5. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of tS policies and procedures.
6. Maintain own competence in DSE/PAG disciplines in order to understand, manage and contribute to operations.
7. Lead, guide, mentor and career manage those Team personnel under their command.

8. Any other duties commensurate with rank and experience.



Previous experience working within a CEMA / PAG / Jt environment. 

NSV Security Developed Vetting 

National Security clearance is an essential requirement for this role at the Developed Vetting (DV) level. The successful applicant can apply for National Security clearance at DV level once in post. This is a reserved post and therefore only open to UK nationals.

PAG L1 Accredited Skill

JSSU(R) is the UK’s Cyber and Electro-Magnetic Intelligence Tri-Service Reserve Unit, providing specialist communications, cryptographic capabilities and linguistics in support of the Joint Service Signals Organisation, the wider Defence SIGINT Enterprise community and Partners Across Government.
