RSDs: 44. There is a requirement to attend almost all Tuesday training nights (1800-2100hrs) during the academic term, 9 training weekends, ACT (Jun/Jul) and additional time to plan and prepare your lessons. The individual could expect to be available for 60 plus RSDs per year, depending upon how tasks are shared across instructors.              

 Position Role: Junior Coy Instructor C/SSgt.                      

Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Phase 1 training to Junior Company OCdts, following the Module A syllabus from RMAS, including all lesson preparation and assisting Coy HQ with planning of training delivery.
2. Set the example for values and standards, coach OCdts in the Coy and embody the Army Leadership Code.
3. Comply with unit Training Quality Manual and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
4. Comply with unit Supervisory Care Directive to support and protect staff and OCdts.
5. Report all necessary SHEF, discipline and administrative issues under direction of CSM and PSI.
6. Plan, deliver and participate in unit sports, unit adventurous training, and WOs’ and Sgts’ Mess events.
7. Attend and deliver elements of the Annual Continuous Training held each summer.
8. Any other responsibilities as directed by the OC or Company 2IC.

Skill at Arms (SAA) instructor. Sandhurst Staff Contextual Course (48hrs at RMAS), Care of Trainees (e-learning); both can be completed once in post.
BCD instructor, RMQ, Signals instructor, DTTT v2, Junior or Senior Brecon, Adventurous Training qualifications, Cat D1 driving licence.
