Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: 44 RSDs per year(More available if required). Combination of modular courses delivered at weekends and consolidated courses, 7-9 days.

  1. Prepare, plan and deliver courses to qualify potential instructors - including the DTTT Ph3; DTc(A); SA(K)18 and SA(M)18.
  2. Deliver training as dictated by the course programme in accordance with DCTS, ARITC and LWC policy.
  3. Train, manage and administrate a syndicate of up to 12 potential instructors
  4. Deliver centralised presentations to circa 36 personnel.
  5. Champion and role model the Army Values and Standards.
  6. Supervise and report on student performance then coach/mentor students to improve as trainers and leaders.
  7. BPT deliver additional training courses to Ph 1 recruits and trained soldiers.
Applicants must hold the DTTT Ph3 or DTc(A)/DTTT Ph1/2 v2 qualifications)   Critical to deliver training to potential instructors. 

Experience in Trg Delivery

DTc(A) Must be completed within six months of appointment.

ATM, SA(B)18, SA(K)18, SA(M)18 Pers will be supported to complete the ATM on appointment.

Regional Appointment Board
The role requires instructors to deliver initial instructor training to potential instructors, delivering the DTTT Ph3 or DTc(A) R courses, involving coaching and mentoring potential instructors to gain their confidence and competence to instruct. Instructors will be encouraged to complete the Army Trainer Mentor course to mentor colleagues across the regiment and to help share best practice.
