Vacancy detail

1. Project Team lead for basing and infrastructure change projs within the Army DEO South and Wales region, working to the Regional SO1. 
2. End-to-end management of allocated projs; delivering cap outputs and programme benefits within fin control total allocated to each proj.  
3. Represent the customer by ensuring projs deliver against the military cap reqs identified. Conduct xDLOD stakeholder engagement.
4. Ensure projs deliver x-DLOD coherence, working with wider Army HQ stakeholders, DIO, other-TLB stakeholders.
5. Support P3M activity and staffing; incl reqs definition, assessment studies, business cases, proj boards to inform 1/2* decision making.
6. Empowered B&I representative at project steering/working groups; deputise for Regional SO1 at 1*/2* programme level meetings where required.
Requires understanding of the full breadth of Army capabilities and first-hand experience of how the Army operates at unit and formation level.  Must be able to master a broad portfolio, liaise with outside agencies and robustly represent the Army’s requirements.
Must be able to build strong cooperative networks and influence broadly. Able to articulate a compelling narrative and negotiate persuasively, with regular exposure to 1/2* level.
Must be able to promote the Army infra change agenda whilst making timely, effective decisions to deliver tangible outputs and drive them through to delivery.  Able to succeed in an environment of complexity, constant change and demanding timelines.
Must be able to rapidly grasp complex issues, military experience and judgement to develop comprehensive, viable infra solutions.
1. KSEB can be built on in the role. Infra experience is highly desirable.
2. Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
3. Fd Army experience is vital to give an authoritative inclusion of capability requirements

This post is being offered as a 24 month contract. There is potential for contract extension pending Army Operating Model outcomes.
