Vacancy detail
Responsibilities:
1. To advise the CO, CoC and individual SP on all aspects of Career Management (CM) in liaison with the APC and Bde G1 Staff.
2. Lead on Bn retention incentives, directive and policy.
3. Implement and supervise control of the unit’s soldiers, less AC (SPS), policy and procedures on promotion and assignments.
4. Act as main unit PoC for APC,on soldier manning issues.
5. Assist in the organisation and management of all grading and appointing boards on behalf of the CO.
6. The focal point for personal development and advice to soldiers and junior officers on careers, vocational education and learning.
7. Review the AFC 8005s and staff establishment amendments.
8. To advise and assist the CO and OCs on implementation and development of Diversity and Inclusion.
9. Bn continuity staff officer, to assist in any gapping of the Regular Adjt or XO between assignments or when individuals have been trawled.
10. CNO/VO Hub commander for 51X West AO
11. Must be able to work weekends and attend Annual Training Deployments to conduct FCR and one to one career management interviews with SP.
