A vacancy has arisen for a Warrant Officer 1 / Warrant Officer (RAF) - Any Trade - to serve as Info Cap WO at Shrivenham on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 07 November 2022 (or earlier). Preference will be given to those who have experience working within the Knowledge & Information Management area and/or those from a technical background. Applicants should also have experience in training delivery and ideally in training management and design.
The Information Warfare Group is responsible to provide maximise Defence’s ability to meet the challenges of future operations by bringing science and technology to life through education and training.
The position within the IWG is to Manage and deliver training and education relating to Information Capability Management
Specific tasks include:
a. To deliver all the IM courses iaw the Defence System Approach to Training Quality Standard at the DefAc.
b. To support delivery of all the IM courses iaw the Defence System Approach to Training Quality Standard at the DefAc
c. To lecture on all Information Management professional courses
Must either have been, or currently be, a WO1 or WO (RAF) any trade
Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
b. Expertise in Defence Course Design
c. Expertise in Defence Inval Course
d. Complete suite of ICS IKM courses (In Role)
e. Info Asset Owner Course – National Archives (in Role)

Flight Sergeant (Any Trade) eligible for promotion in accordance with AP 3392 Vol 2 Leaflet 560 and AP 3376 Vol 1. All Promotions will be ratified by means of a Promotion Board. If an applicant has been out of full-time military service and is applying for a post on promotion, they will also need to send their civilian appraisals or equivalent to evidence recent skills, knowledge and experience to be considered by the Promotion Board.
