Vacancy detail

Domestic considerations.  Reside within a 50 mile radius.  This is an FTRS (LC) post so no accommodation is provided.  Residential courses must be attended to cover any training shortfall.  Includes working during Wednesday drill nights until 2030hrs (unless stood down). Required to work some weekends during Oct to support the annual recruiting activity and be prepared to deploy on Unit Annual Training Exercise in Jun/Jul for up to 14 days. Required intermittently to undertake orderly officer duty, on a weekly roster basis. 

Position role: Adjutant / RAO.

1. Principal staff officer for Unit G1 with management responsibility for all unit records, preparation for the G1 audit, security vetting register, Unit Records Officer, OCdt attestations.
2. Auditor of the Unit Public Fund and account holder/operator of Service Non-Public Funds.
3. Unit Career Manager, responsible for all RCMO responsibilities including Reservists' career management, assignments in and transfers out.
4. Medical administration, including UOTC entry medicals, Unit Health Committee Meetings (UHCMs) and maintaining PAPMIS records for downgraded SP. 
5. Responsible for auditing of iexpense claims, fraud reporting and fraud prevention. 
6. Initiator for all appraisals and provision of appraisal management information to CoC.
7. Line manager for the RAWO.
8. In conjunction with the unit YONA, monitor the AOSB pipeline (for Reg and Res POs), providing AOSB and commissioning advice, communicating army career opportunities to OCdts, arranging familiarisation visits and loading SP onto Commissioning Course Short (CCS).
9. Additional roles within the unit: Establishment Administrator, Unit Authorised Demander, iHub manager, IT Security Officer.
