Domestic Considerations: Working from UPAVON in HQ ARITC (with some remote working possible) and requirement to travel throughout the UK (including overnight stays) to visit AR units and sub-units; support ARRAT assurance ops and attend conferences and training; with a requirement to work some evenings and weekends
Position Role: ARITC staff officer responsible for Army Reserve recruiting and assurance
Responsibilities:
1.  Lead for ARRAT to plan, co-ordinate, document and report all Army Competent Authority and Inspectorate (ACA&I) Recruiting Assurance activity and 2LoDA audit.
2.  Lead for input and co-ord for AR Recruiting meetings incl but not limited to the Reserve Inflow Working Group (RIWG), Reserve Officer and Soldier Conference (ROSC), ¼ Reserve Recruiting and Basic Training Update, AR Unit Updates, Pipeline Optimisation Board (POB), AR Wkg Gps: (AR Specialist/National, CCRMB, JAG), Rec Br Mtgs, RG Quarterly Operational Planning mtgs, RPOC ‘Fusion’ Meetings etc.
3.  Administer (G1/G4), train (G7) and co-ord (G3/5) the ARRAT iot provide a professional and comprehensive AR recruiting 2LoDA capability and outputs to incl the induction and training, and ongoing support/upskilling to ARRAT staff.
4. Assurance (1LoDA) of and continuous improvement (CI) of the ARRAT Res Rec 2LoDA audit process:  accompany the ARRAT audit teams periodically/as required iot assure delivery of 2LoDA adherence to assurance standards of independency and consistency to identify Risk (to life, reputation and capability) and good/bad practice.
5.  Manage (incl MS) ARRAT Trg WO and ARRAT Clk to plan and co-ord all ARRAT 2LoDA and additional ARRAT activities in sp of AR recruiting.
6.  Lead AR Recruiting PoC within ARITC for HQ Fd Army, HC, APC, DPHC, RPOCs, all AR units and within ARITC; RG/Capita, Trg Ops, Occ Med and Rec Br for all Reserve recruiting matters and issues.
7.  Act as the AR Recruiting SME and Authority for the National Recruiting Centre (NRC) on all Reserve recruiting issues.
8.  Undertake additional projects and tasks as required by AD Reserve Recruiting / AD Recruiting.
Daily use of all MS Office and applications, incl design and use of analytical tools, presentational software, excel spread sheets
Daily use of analysis and planning skills.
AR sub-unit Command preferred.
Staff experience working in Army/Fmn HQ. Interaction with Regular and Reservists from all organisations involved with AR recruit pipeline matters
Will command Reservist assurance/training teams.
Recruiting experience as lead SME on all recruiting matters for the AR.
Operational experience to aid professional credibility in role.
Tour at ATU, ATR, OTC or AOSB an advantage.

This post requires a proactive individual capable of managing current and future 2LoDA of AR recruiting to identify and reduce risk, optimise resource: Will be working within a busy and dynamic HQ in collaboration with multiple stakeholders: ARITC and HC, AR units, RPP/AFRP to optimise AR in-flow. Predominantly working at Upavon but must be willing to travel throughout the UK and spend time overnight on Audits and other events.
