Vacancy detail

1. Act as the focal point for Apache risk management and co-ordinate AS activities across 1 Avn Bde (Attk), iaw ASMP and DDH D&G.
2. Manage the Apache Air System Safety Case iaw RA1205 and JHC ASMP, to include regular reviews and assurance.
3. Prepare the DDH Safety Board and document the meetings iaw ASMP.
4. Act as the Apache Unit Air Safety Risk Register (UASRR) manager ensuring that Bowtie Risk analysis is completed and that significant risks are monitored.
5. Monitor and manage ASIMS / DAEMS occurrence reports / investigations and conduct trend analysis.
6. Prepare Air Safety publicity including Air Safety Days, reading material and the promotion of Air Safety Awards.  
7. Act as the Apache POC for the promotion of a positive Air Safety Culture across the Apache AOR.
8. Act as the liaison between the Apache and JHC Safety Branch on AS issues, to include dispensations, UASSR, JHC Audit, MAA Policy, BowTie Risk Analysis and ASIMS.
9. Maintain and conduct regular reviews of the ASMP, UASSR, BowTie Barrier effectiveness, Tolerability and ALARP statements. 
10. Conduct 1st Party Assurance of WFS by reviewing the WFS DAM, crash and major incident plan and other AS related docs and procedures.
11. Conduct 1st Party Assurance of Apache units to measure regulatory compliance.
12. Manage and track all recommendations made during internal and external audits.
13. Prepare for JHC and MAA Audits.
