As a National Reservist, be part of the HQ element of a specialist Hydrid Engineer Group consisting of c.1000 Regular and Reserve personnel that delivers Infrastructure for Defence and other Government Departments. Unit roles include all aspects of design; construction supervision; commissioning; inspections; etc. of infrastructure in: construction; fuels; power; water; railway; ports.

As SO2 Reserves (Infra) Reserve Support Team you will work closely with the Volunteer Reserve OF5 A/Comd. Your roles include:

Advise the Comd & HQ Staff on ARes matters including; policy, training, recruiting and mobilisation

Provide staff capacity to affect internal policy and implementation of higher formation direction

Represent the AComd and SO1 Reserves at ARes focussed events

Support the AComd and SO1 Reserves in the conduct of their duties (incl MS function)

Facilitate the AComd Cabal including; RODs, and co-ordinating SO1s outputs

Provide Chilwell based continuity for AComd providing R2 and ARes focussed MI

Support and advise OC RST in the conduct their duties, covering OF gapping where possible

Act as continuity role for the Proj Team co-ordinating the unit's relocation from Chilwell to Stafford

The successful candidate will be expected to attend 44x RSDs per year, mainly during the working week.

Opportunities for additional RSDs are likely.

Experience working with National Reserve Mil Infra Units

sub-Unit Comd of STRE or Engr Sqn;

G1 pers experience (career management; recruiting; MS);

Staff experience.
