Domestic Considerations: FTRS (HC)
Position Role:  Permenant Staff Administration Officer 265 Port Sqn, 165 P&M Regt RLC.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the efficient administrative and technical functioning of the Sqn in barracks including (but not limited to) Pay Assurer, enlistments, discharges and promotions.
2.  Conduct Line Manager responsibilities for all Sqn Civilian Staff and administrate and manage all FTRS/SPSI/PSI in conjunction with their Reporting Officer (this may include low level tasking).
3. Manage the Squadron specific estate; ensure the estate is fit for purpose in conjunction with RFCA.
4. Conduct the duties of the sub-unit MODNET Authorised Demander.
5. Carry out the duties of the Unit Welfare and Equality and Diversity Offr.
6. Manages sub-unit accounts. Conducts cash and stock checks in accordance with SFR regulations.
7. Responsible for all security matters.
8. Manage all Sqn MS.
9. POC for all SHE (Health & Safety) matters including site specific Risk Assessments.
10.Manage lettings.
11. Responsible for Sqn CoE certificate completion, including Trg year extension, RSD management and the submission of CoE certificates to the CO in line with the Regt’l Trg Directive.
12. Liaise with the RCMO,ROSO and RAWO to ensure Sqn service persons are appropriately vetted and hold CRB clearances as required.
13. Monitor and manage Sqn Service Persons medical status, contributing to Unit Health Committee and WISMIS where required, updating ODR/MODUS for CoE records and manging App9s to ensure medical restrictions are communicated and understood by the App9 holder, ARs, SPSI, PSI and CoC to prevent further injury.
14. Assist Sqn personnel with their administrative preparation to attend career and trade courses.
15. Assist Sqn training as required by the OC and Chain of Command through the timely production of Admin Instr, trg programmes and MELs as required.
16. Attend weekly meetings as required (CO CUB, UHC, etc) ensuring information is disseminated up and down the CoC.
17.  Provide admin support to ACT, Ex and Deployments.
18. Conducts routine correspondence and deputises for the OC.
19. Responsible for Sqn recruiting including Attestations, safeguarding, training and management of the RSUSO and RRMT staff.
20. Oversee all vehicle related issues including JAMES management.
21. Execute additional duties as required by the Chain of Command within the terms of service.
