Vacancy detail

Provide staff support to CRHQ R SIGNALS and HQ R SIGNALS Staff Officers including Reserve pay.  Manage the R SIGNALS Reserve Cyber Recruit pipeline.  Coordinate information from key stakeholders providing a single source of R SIGNALS Reserve liability, manning, capability and qualification data.  Forecast R SIGNALS Reserve personnel capability gaps, retention trends, recruiting challenges etc.  Pre-empt personnel issues and assist in their resolution.  Advise on manning profile by rank and trade against liability and on career structure profiles for R SIGNALS Reserve officers and soldiers (Mainstream and Specialist) by unit and location.  Provide Management Information regarding R SIGNALS Reserves as requested by key stakeholders in support of planning and decision-making.  Maintain the R SIGNALS Reserve HQ R SIGNALS Defence Connect including support to the delivery of the R SIGNALS social media presence. Act as proxy for OC CRHQ when OC is unavailable.

FTRS Application through to boarding
The post holder reports to OC CRHQ R SIGNALS, but can work with Corps Col R SIGNALS, Corps Col Reserves R SIGNALS and COS R SIGNALS.  This FTRS post is suited to a WO2 with a training background and  knowledge of the R SIGNALS. Confident communication skills with senior officers and senior soldiers is vital.  Post holder will support Reserve pan-Corps conferences and participate in the drumbeat and life of HQ R SIGNALS.  Post holder will wear MTP uniform in office and when required, in in virtual meetings.  Some  weekend working will be required ('TOIL' may be auth depending on staff tempo).  Mess Accommodation cannot be guaranteed for FTRS(HC).
