SO2 Pers Policy

1.  Provide Reserves-focused policy guidance to HQ INT CORPS, INT CORPS Res units and their respective chains of command (CoC).

ICSC(L) or ICSC(LR). Strong staff skills underpinned by ICSC training.

Prior Staff experience in G1/MS highly desirable.  If not capbadged INT CORPS, should ideally have prior experience of the Corps and/or the Army Reserves. SUC; preferably in the INT CORPS or J2 environment. Preferably OFMI or OPMI trained as a Regular or Reservist.

The incumbent will be the lead fulltime Staff Officer supporting part-time Reservist Corps Col Res, SO1 Res and Senior Reservist Warrant Officer (SRWO). (S)He will therefore be the routine POC from interlocutors across the board for Reservist personnel and recruitment P&P, associated casework and career management enquiries and processes. Must be able to routinely work in Chicksands and travel across the UK on duty (including nights away from home and frequently at weekends as part of Reserve unit activity and MIROA). Must be at least SC on taking up the post, with DV process to be initiated once in post.
