Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: 45+ RSDs per year. Army/Regular Reserve post, some travel and overnight duty may be required. Additional days available by application.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver: Deliver PHC, PHEC and Force Health Protection on behalf of the CO and as directed by the SMO.
2. Improve: Act as a proponent for improving health, human performance and deployability within the unit AOR.
3. Advise: Provide role specific occupational health and case management advice to the unit Chain of Command as appropriate.
4. Responsible: Responsible for the standard of healthcare delivery within the unit AOR.
5.  Plan: Contribute to role specific medical planning.
6.  Command: Lead, train, mentor and develop role specific individual and collective HSS capability within unit AOR.
7.  Engage: Engage with higher formations - DACOS Med Fd Army through Bde Med Staff, Senior RMO or Bde SMO, DACOS Med RC through Regional Bdes and DPHC through the SMO.
8.  Develop: Maintain and develop own professional, military and military medical competencies.
Current Licence to Practise and be on the GP Register. Must have familiarity with the Defence Medical Services Intermediate Healthcare capabilities for mental healthcare and musculoskeletal injury management.
