SO1 Youth Support.

SO1 Youth Support. This post will support youth activities within the HQ, including Ex WYVERN TOR (Ex WT) 22 and 23, and residential youth engagement events. Progress will be measured by successful execution of youth events and increased SQEP of delivery teams.

HQ SW has a specified task to deliver Ex WT, the largest youth event run by Defence each year. This post will directly support delivery of this event during both the planning and subsequently the execution of the event with a focus on preventing and then manging any youth issues including safeguarding matters.

In addition, the post will support the Engagement Team in delivery of Youth engagement events including look-at-life residential courses, and will assist with the processing of ACF and wider discipline matters.

Driving License

Good working knowledge of ACF.
Wider discipline knowledge.

Safeguarding experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
