A role has been established for a WO2 to serve as Regimental Apprenticeships Coordinator, for 1st and 15th Signal Regiments, both co-located within Swinton Barracks in Perham Down. The role is on FTRS(HC) TACoS, with a proposed start date from Aug 26.
The successful candidate will support both units and SO1 Apprenticeships (Capbadge Apprenticeships Lead) to coordinate the delivery of Royal Signals Apprenticeships, in line with the Army Apprenticeship programme. Outputs include:
1. Act as the primary link between the respective CoC, their apprentices and the contracted Service Provider (SP), in order to facilitate learning and assessments. 2. Liaise with Assessment Organisations, the contracted Service Provider (SP), the unit CoC, and the apprentice in all matters related to Apprenticeship Assessments. 3. In collaboration with the SP, develop/maintain data of apprenticeships performance at unit level. 4. Directly engage with apprentices at unit level, including with new arrivals, and ensure that they understand necessary learning requirements. 5. Deliver unit level briefs related to apprenticeships as required/directed. 6. Assist in identifying suitable nominations for awards and media related activity. 7. Undertake any additional apprenticeship related activity in support of units and HQ Royal Signals as directed. |
