Vacancy detail

Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a RANKOR7 to serve as Training Support 2 at JFD, Defence Academy, Shrivenham on FTRS (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 1 Apr 2023.

Unit Function    

To deliver high quality, relevant and progressive education and training to support Government security and defence policies, to enhance defence capability and advance the defence and security interests of the UK.  


Position Role    

To provide support to the Learning Analysis Design and Development Team.

Responsibilities

1. Undertake analysis and design of training iaw JSP 822 and the DefAc MTES. 
2. Support SO2 Learning Analysis and Design in the management of externally contracted Learning Design work. 
3. Provide support to SO2 Staff Development in delivery of the DefAc trainer Development Programme.
4.
Provide support to the DefAc governance process in terms of providing statistical data for requirements and performance.
5. Provide administrative support to the Delivery of DevFac supported learning interventions, including (but not limited to) DHET, ODSC, PGCAP and HEA.
6. LDev and Assurance Team lead for mandatory and military training. 
7. Undertake additional LDev and CIA training support tasks commensurate with rank as directed by SO3 Learning Analysis and Design.

Must be an OR7 of any specialisation. OR6 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent OJAR will be considered.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

An awareness and experience of DSAT.

Experience of working in a Military Training Environment.
