FTRS - Home Commitment

Vacancy detail

1. Close liaison and teamwork with QM Dept and Reserve Sqn SQMS.
2. Maintain an awareness and understanding of Sqn J3 commitments to enable prioritising and secure support from wider J functions and RHQ in a timely manner.
3. Embrace Regtl ethos and maintain and foster a positive working relationship with all Sqn personnel.
4. Assist SP with correct Transfer & Movement of Weapon & Sighting Systems from Base Unit to Course or Operational Unit, as well as ensuring they have all Equipment’s and Information required.  
5. The accountability and security of all weapons, ancillaries, accn stores, ET items and communication systems allocated to C Sqn both physically and on MJDI & JAMES.  Incl mandatory checks as detailed in Defence framework. 
6. Assist Exercise Planners and Range Conducting Officers with preparation & planning for Exercises & Ranges with regards to Equipment & Ammunition availability and requirements.
7. Responsible for clothing sizes and issues for all Sqn personnel.
8. Supervise and maintain C Sqn vehicles and documentation as detailed in Regtl MT Standing Orders. Including all FMT1000 Transport Requests for Fleet & Hire vehicles and maintaining the Agency Fuel Card Issue Register & presenting Vehicles ready for MOT & Vehicle Safety Inspections when required.
9. Maintain Sqn Driver Training Records on Regimental Sharepoint.
10. Ensure all administration & training files are held correctly as per the Army Information Asset Register. 
11. The preparation of equipment, stores & vehicles prior to issue for training events.
12. To oversee recovery of clothing and equipment prior to discharge and transfer of personnel.  
13. Carry out all necessary SHEP actions at C Sqn to comply with Legislation & Law  providing H&S annual reports to the Sqn PSAO and QM dept.
14. Engage with RFCA for Works Services or Works Orders as required.
15. Carry out duties of Fire NCO
Accurate staff work, attention to detail essential.
SC in-date.  Experience of Reserves - Desirable.  The start date of 1 Nov 21 is provisional only

MJDI MA & JAMES Qualified.  All Arms CQMS/RQMS for non REME capbadge personnel
