Domestic Considerations: Up to 44 RSDs per year that includes Reserve training weekends and a 15-day Annual Deployment Exercise usually in May/Jun of each year.
Position Role: Master Chef. The UOTC is to deliver leadership development for selected students through military training, adventure training, personal, intellectual and social development, physical training and sports.  On behalf of the Army, it is to engage with Higher Education Institutes to support Regional Command Engage to Recruit and directed Defence Engagement activity which supports increasing Army inflow.
Responsibilities:
1.    The primary role for this appointment is to administer the catering requirements to the Corps whilst undertaking training in and out of barracks. They are additionally responsible for the maintenance and control of the unit ration account.
2.    They are to liaise with the QM and RQMS and keep abreast of any changes with regards to the training forecast for the Corps, where changes are made to the training programme, they are to implement them accordingly.
3.    Assist with driving duties in respect of LGV vehicles for movement of equipment and stores.
4.    Carry out chef duties to assist with the catering burden as required and is to conduct in-house training for all chefs under their command.
5     Undertake ITR training as laid down in Reserve Land Forces Regulations.
6.    Oversee the welfare of all chefs and where issues arise notify them to the CoC (if appropriate).
7.    Ensure that the Commanding Officer’s policies on Equipment Care for Catering and Food Handling are being adhered to.
8.    Support the G4 team during training periods as directed by the RQMS/CQMS.
