Vacancy detail

Task requirements

1. Deputise for the OC on day to day administrative, operational, training, welfare, recruiting and community engagement matters.
2. PSAO function and focal Point to all Sqn Offrs/Soldiers for all personal admin, pay & operational deployments (inc Sqn Service Funds Account holder) and other tasks as directed by the CO.
3. Advice and guidance on career management of the Reserves element of the Sqn in conjunction with the Regt’l RCMO.
4. Lead and support the recruiting initiatives and staff (x4 REMSOs) to meet the Regimental recruitment targets
5. Welfare Officer – Focal point to all Sqn Offr/Soldiers and the families of soldiers.
6. Lead and mange the mobilisation process for a range of on-going operational deployments across the Regiment.

Essential competencies

Service Funds, Civil Service Courses
JPA HR Admin although some of these qualifications can be completed in-post

Desirable competencies

HRMS trg. Unit Welfare Officer.

Additional information

Previous Reserve experience essential. Some evening - trg nights and weekend work will be required as this is a Reserve unit. A suitably experienced WO could also fill if required.
