Vacancy detail

1.  Understand and operate a variety of systems and applications including JAMES, ARMS, UAMS II, CHURCHILL, MILLIE, CP&F, SLIM, VERITAS and internal auditing for all accounting areas. Act as the sole accountant as the regiments EPC/LVP.
2.  Supervise military and civilian storeman and act as Line Manager to civilian store personnel.
3.  Be familiar with, Radiation & Radon Protection measures and understand the documentation required for items in transit and being the focal point for all matters relating to Radiation Protection (should qualify as a WPS Workplace Supervisor).
4.  Qualify and act as Unit Administrative Assistant (MJDI), having already qualified as an MA (Materiel Accountant).
5.  Be fully familiar with current Safety, Health, Environment and Fire regulations.
6.  Monitor, co-ordinate, and audit Equipment Care on behalf of QM. Deputise for the QM during periods of absence or gapping.
7.  Responsible for the running of the Ammunition Account and be responsible for producing all Dangerous Goods notes and necessary paperwork for the movement of High Consequence dangerous goods (Ammunition).
8.  Be prepared to support the Regiment during weekend training activities, regimentally required Currency & Competency (CPD), and during the Regiment’s Annual Training Period (ATP).
9. Provide intimate G4 support from the Quartermaster’s Department to provide for all Force Preparation Schedule activity supporting reservists in attaining their Commanding Officer’s Certificate of Efficiency.
AA RQMS,MJDI Administrator, AA Ammunition Storekeeper, Current Driving Licence. HAZMAT Supervisor. Previous experience of the Army Reserve essential in order to anticipate Army Reserve dynamics within Sub Units for both mobilisation and the intimate G4 support to the Force Preparation Schedule and for the Certificate of Efficiency.

Some evenings - trg nights and weekend work will be required as this is a Reserve unit.
This post is vacant now so an early fill would be an advantage.        Previous Regular or Reserve service as a Warrant Officer. An acute understanding of Army Reserve Force Preparation Schedule (FPS) activity and must have previous experience within the Army Reserve. There is a small team of G4/SQMS across the Regt, so experience and understanding of the environment is essential. The Regt is spread across 6 sub-unit sites.
