Unit Role:  MAB12 is to design and deliver compliant, efficient and assured common training in order to maximise the preparedness of MAB to succeed on operations now and into the future.  

Position Role:  Development Wing MAB12 as the TDA for all MAB training activity, will conduct training analysis (on behalf of the TRA), design, Force Development and assurance whilst also acting as an interface between HQ MAB J35, J7, Cap, FD and Units to shape training in line with future operational capability. These activities will be conducted in accordane with DSAT policy to support training providers and capability cells across the MAB Units. The primary responsibility of this role will be to design training in accordance with DSAT principles to support MAB FGen.  The primary responsibility of this role will be to design training in accordance with DSAT principles to support MAB FGen following a AGILE & SCRUM Methodology.

Judgement. Demonstrates critical application of available information to arrive at sound, timely decisions.  
Powers of Communication. Produces logical, fluent, convincing and accurate written work and have excellent verbal communication skills. 
Attended DSAT Courses and have experience as a DSAT practitioner. 
Production of reports requires a sound grasp of English and Defence Writing. 
Must have previous experience of Training Analysis/Design within the formal training environment. 
Previous Service with MAB Units.

Responsibilities:  
Essential: 
1.  Support Training Needs Analysis. 
2.  Conduct Stage 1 and Stage 2 Training Design in accordance with the DSAT process. 
3.  Conduct Training Design Review. 
4.  Liaise with MAB Training Providers to support course programming and Internal Validation procedures. 
5.  Assist in the oversight of Development Wing, Analyse, Design and Assure functions as part of the TDA responsibilities for MAB Gp training. 
6.  Capture Lessons Identified and develop group interactive and effective learning mechanisms. 
Desirable: 
7.  Provide specialist training support to MAB12 and within wider MAB Gp training activities. 
8.  Support Defence Trainer Capability development across MAB Units.
