FTRS - Home Commitment

Vacancy detail

1. SQMS support to Squadron in all matters, including MJDI, JAMES & CLARITY, all issues and receipts, clothing demands and exchanges, Ration Account, All AinU’s, Weapons, Special Stores, Ammunition. (Daily)
2. Supervision of all matters pertaining to MJDI (all stores). Responsible for the upkeep and licencing of the armoury and ammunition bunker. (Monthly)
3. Deputise for all matters regarding HASAW, Equipment Care, and cover /deputise for PSAO when away. (When required)
4. Liaise with the numerous outside agencies who require access to the site, be they civilian works contractors, military or otherwise. Host all when on site. (Daily)
5. Be the SPOC for Wx Reserve Forces & Cadet Association (WRFCA), and report all infrastructure faults and required maintenance through their Help Desk. (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
6. Responsible for Squadron vehicles, weapons and equipment, including issue, control, and status update on JAMES LAND System. (Weekly)
7. Responsible for the booking, delivery, return and documentation of all hired white fleet using the CLARITY system. (Weekly)
8. Local Security Officer for all Squadron personnel on MODNET passwords (As required)
9. Be prepared to (BPT) support the Regiment during weekend training activities and during the Regiment’s Annual Training Period (ATP). (Yearly if required)
10. Will work one evening per week (Currently 1900 – 2100) in support of the Squadron’s Drill Night. (Weekly)
11. Travel to RHQ (Bovington, Dorset) once a week to conduct admin runs, collect / deliver stores, collect / deliver all items needed to run an Armoured Sabre Squadron. (Weekly)
12. Areas of responsibility include drill hall, dining room, kitchen, Squadron lines, armoury, stores and vehicle hangars. (Daily)
13. Accounting for all matters pertaining to control, issue and receipt of weapons / ammunition belonging to the Squadron. (Daily / Weekly)
14. Have primary keyholder responsibility, which may require out of hours call out in response to security alarms being activated. (As required)
15. Responsible for all G4 tasks as set by Sqn PSAO or Regtl QM. (Daily)
AA RQMS - SQMS                     MJDI User                                    Cat C licence
Experience working in an Army Reserve Centre.                         Unit Fire Officer.                    Safety, Health and Environment experience
FTRS Application through to boarding
Live within a single journey distance of 30 mins. Key holder responsibilities for out of hours call out for Armoury alarm activation.
