Vacancy detail

  1. Ensure the COs Recruiting and Retention Plan is adopted, understood and followed.
  2. Provide advice and guidance to all Battalion RRMT and ReMSO’s ensure that Soldiers Under Training (SUT) are suitably prepared to attend the assessment centre and the various elements of the Initial Training.
  3. Detailed liaison with RCMO and PSAOs to ensure SUTs are placed within the correct PIDs within the 8005.
  4. The production and development of the IPRE plans for all sub-units across the Battalion.
  5. The maintenance (and improvement) of the Operations Support Team SharePoint.
  6. Conduct admin activities and maintain DRS information and Candidate/Trainee Tracker.
  7. Support the ROSO in the preparation and delivery of ARRAT Inspection readiness and OFSTED Compliance.
  8. Act as the POC internally and externally for all recruiting matters.
  9. Attend (on behalf of the CO) all external meetings linked to recruiting and Phase 1&2 Trg.
  10. Ensure all Battalion RRMT/ReMSO SP are Trained and Qualified (including DBS).
  11. Maintain oversight of all course bids for Phase 1 & 2 Trg events.
  12. Provide advice and guidance to assist RRMTs to ensure SUT are prepared to attend Phase 1 & 2 Trg events.
  13. Maintain the Battalion Phase 1 & 2 Training Forecast.
  14. Maintain an accurate record and archive of all annual recruitment and Phase 1 & 2 statistics.
  15. Assist and deputise for the ROSO when required.
  16. Provide Assurance for all Phase 1 & 2 Trg activities.

Driving Licence 

Highly competent with Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge/experience of Infantry reserve forces recruitment and G7 pipeline

MATTs instructor

SAA Instructor

Knowledge/experience of  ARRAT Inspection requirements and OFSTED Compliance

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior WO2 (Post CSM appointment) to manage and assume responsibility for the recruitment and initial training of new Army reservists.
