Vacancy detail

1. Deputy to Assistant Head Infra Projects and personally responsible for managing and leading selected infrastructure LODs and team WGs for equipment projects from Concept to Delivery via the DIO supply chain.
2. Support the development of infrastructure Statement of Need (SoN) and User Requirement Document (URD) for emerging infrastructure needs.
3. Develop and staff Business Cases to allow Value for Money (VfM) decisions to be made by the Army Chain of Command informed by the scrutiny and approvals process. 
4. Lead input to Equipment Programme Boards and Working Groups to ensure Stakeholder Engagement and Infra DLoD input, internal and external to the Army.
5. Co-ordinate with MSHQ and DIO Infra Plans and Finance to inform Balance of Investment decisions and secure funding for infrastructure procurement.
6. Positively challenge supply chain deliverability for: Performance, Time, Cost and Risk; elevating exceptions to the respective H2A forum.
7. Personally energise and add momentum to the end to end project process, to ensure infrastructure delivery meets the needs of the Army
8. 1RO for 2x FTRS SO2's and lead and cohere a geographically dispersed team of Civil Servant Project Sponsors.

Domestic Considerations.   Working for a fixed agreed location, there is an expectation to travel to represent projects whilst in role. Must be prepared to travel to Army HQ on an infrequent basis.
