60 - 90 x RSD available from Jun 22 to Jun 23 or until task is complete. Ideally working 2 days per week at Northwood.

Training experience and familiarity with DSAT  essential but not branch limited to TM/LDA.

The Joint Battlespace Management Course (JBMC) is being reinvigorated the original course,at the request of RSA Larkhill, JW are in the process of acting as TRA for the course redesign. SQEP are required to provide full attention to the issue and to ensure the tasks in hand are completed to the correct standard in line with DSAT process. 

Responsibilities:

Act as JW DEV Team SME on DSAT/TNA. This may require completion of the TNA course at DefAc.

Ideally, working from JW StratCom with required day travel to RSA Larkhill /LWC/ASWC/MWC if required.

Take handover of Joint Battlespace Management Course TNA process. The individual(s) will be taking this on as their main task. 
This will require management of the TNA process, which will be outsourced to either a civilian contractor or DefAC. In lieu of a JW TM, or any expertise between Cdr Salisbury and I, This is probably one of the main tasks.

Liaise with SO2 BM RSA Larkhill, who is supporting TDA for the JBMC.

Engage with all JBMC Stakeholders (and Stakeholder OF5 line management) to manage their input for the TNA process and Course Design process.

Provide regular updates to SO1 Integration, inc TNA/Course Design timescales & key events.

Create BETA course for experienced BM staff to complete as a test audience.

Support TIC (Training Innovation Centre, RSA Larkhill) with course design. This will also include creation of Distance Learning modules. Source the correct subject material from stakeholder community to ensure this is fit for purpose.

Provide updates to this process for the Joint Battlespace Management Working Group (run from JW).

Experience in the design and delivery of training is essential but knowledge of Course Creation and TNA process highly desirable. Ultimately, a DSAT course will be offered as a refresher if necessary.

Ideally an OF3 of any specialisation although OF3 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent OJAR will be considered. OF3 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OF3.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces with Training Experience

Knowledge of Battlespace Management ideal but not essential

This role is a short term requirement and required to support the existing cadre with their primary duties. Permanent staff will work closely with the identified individual but will be leaning heavily on their experience in this specific field. A contractor may be able to conduct the work but this would not represent value for money nor be able to apply the correct military training experience required.
