Vacancy detail

1. Establish enduring robust & productive relationships with emergency services, civil auth & regional government.
2. Ensure the Armed Forces capabilities, constraints and structures for responding to requests for military assistance are widely understood by the civilian agencies involved in resilience.
3. Manage the expectations of the civil authorities balanced against the realities of what Defence can provide. 
4. During ops, and as determined by COS LONDIST, liaise as Defence representative at most appropriate location with the civil authorities. 
5. Identify and co-ordinate opportunities for Defence participation in civil emergency and other training events. 
6.  Co-ordinate UK Ops Liaison, planning and operations in LONDIST along with the single service RLOs. 
7.  Participate in London Local Resilience Forum and the sub-committees and working groups of the secretariat as appropriate.
8.  Train, manage and hold at readiness the HQ LONDIST Resilience Support Team for short notice and deliberate operations in London
1. Staff planning/operations essential. 2. Previous staff experience essential
1.Previous experience in a Joint HQ and/or multi-agency civilian agency highly desirable.                    2.TACSC or ACSC for Army Reserve officer.                                3.Previous UK Ops experience highly desirable
