Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OR6-OR7 to serve as DBS AFVS Current Ops Routine Project Officer at Centurion House, Gosport on FTRS(HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 24 May 23.
Unit Function
Support operational effectiveness through delivering reliable, trusted and efficient JPA services to the regular, reservist and veterans’ communities.
Position Role
DBS AFVS Current Ops Routine Project Officer
• To utilise JPA in order to resolve or investigate issues escalated to DBS by the JPA focal points.
• To utilise the reporting tool within JPA to assist in the resolution of any current issues.
• To provide surge capacity for the CuOps Incident Response Team.
• Assist with User testing where necessary.
• Running of reports to identify corrupt, incorrect or duplicate data.
• Measured communication with the Single Service JPA Focal Points.
• Managing the CuOps Group Mailbox.
• Provide surge capacity to the CuOps incident response team.
Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve routine and complex JPA issues
Assist with Testing as required
Running reports to identify corrupt, duplicate and incorrect data
Communicate with Single Service Focal Points
Manage the CuOps Group mailbox
Provide Surge capacity for the CuOps team in regards to the more complicated issues
Local Considerations
Domestic
Expected to work in Gosport with option to Hybrid Work
Must be an OR6-OR7 of any specialisation. OR4 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent OJAR will be considered.
OR8 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OR7.
Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
