Vacancy detail

Provide HQ SE lead for UK Ops providing timely, 24/7, liaison with both Civil Authorities (CA) and HQ SJC(UK).
On duty predominately from home, and iaw ARO, Ops BANKNOTE and TEMPERER, deploy 24/7 at ‘best effort’, and NLT 6 Hrs NTM, to deliver timely SA, advice and co-ordination of Defence support to CA.  
Develop strong interpersonal relationships with CA and Defence establishments within AO.
Ensure MACA protocols, capabilities and constraints are understood by both CA and within Defence.
Ensure UK Ops support of all 3 Services is co-ordinated to provide optimum level of MACA to the CA.
Act as primus inter pares amongst MLOs for UK Ops liaison, planning and supporting operations in partnership with sS RLOs.
During operations, and as determined by the Bde Comd/JMC or higher command, act as tri-Service lead at the most appropriate location with the CA.
Identify when a Military Assessment Team support might be required and co-ordinate.
Identify opportunities and co-ordinate Defence participation in Local Resilience Forum and other trg events.
Co-ordinate activities of the SO3 (UK) Ops, DJRLO and staff under command as appropriate.
ICSC/Equiv.
IT Literate - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint used routinely.
Operational - UK Ops
Staff - Grade 1.  At least 2 tours at Grade 2.
FTRS Application through to boarding
Wide experience of tri-service G3 Ops/UK Ops staff work and procedures.  
Pre Appt/Deployment Trg - Defence Contribution to Resilience Course Level 3.
