Vacancy detail

Domestic Considerations: Must live Live within commutable distance of the Army Reserve Centre in Kingstanding, Birmingham.  Some travel and overnight duty may be required.
Position Role:  RCMO MAB 3
Responsibilities:
1.  To advise the CO, CoC and individuals on all aspects of Career Management (CM) in liaison with the APC and Bde J1 Staff.
2.  Implement and supervise control of unit’s Practise and Precedents on Promotion, Assignments, Terminations, Transfers (Reserve, R2R), OAE and Re-engagements.
3.  Act as main unit PoC for APC, on soldier manning issues.
4.  Assist in the organisation and management of all grading and appointing boards on behalf of the CO.
5.  The focal point for personal development and advice to soldiers and junior officers on behalf of the CO.
6.  Review the AFC 8005s and staff establishment amendments in conjunction with Adjt and act as unit JPA Establishment Administrator.
7.  Write and maintain the MS Directive in line with overarching policy and the supervision of Unit appraisals. 
8.  Deliver MS presentations to Unit and Sub-Units throughout the year.
9.  To advise and assist the CO and OCs on implementation and development of Diversity and Inclusion.                                                                                                 10.  Resettlement Officer
RCMO experience.
RCMO Reserve experience.
D&I (A)                                                 All Arms Bookeeper trained                                                           Good working knowledge of MS, JPA inc UEA, Career Management, PAPMIS & D&I.
FTRS Application through to boarding
This post is ideally suited to a LE Offr who has been employed as a RCMO in a Reserve unit. Needs a sound knowledge of the APC and Reserve personnel processes, JPA (Career Manager, Unit establishment Administrator, Termination Officer), Resettlement, PAPMIS and is familiar with manning and career management issues for all arms and ranks.
