1. Manage ALOCs and GLOCs to ensure uninterrupted flow of mission critical equipment and operational capabilities.
2. Maintain oversight of all relevant classes of supply, ensuring serviceability and accurate accountability of issued equipment through robust inventory management, including random monthly audits.
3. Oversight and management of equipment boards to ensure supply chain visibility and efficiency, enabling real-time tracking of logistics requirements.
4. Liaise with HQ, deployed J4 FE’s, and MOD Main Building to ensure strategic alignment and timely approvals.
5. Interface with Operational logistic managers, contractors, and external agencies to synchronise rear support with operational tempo.
6. Organise weekly coordination meetings to improve collaboration within the specialist logistics team and provide weekly logistics update reports to Command.
7. Support contingency planning for supply disruption, surge requirements, or operational shifts.
8. Make regular in-theatre visits to conduct assurance checks. |
