The appointment: Company Second in Command (Coy 2IC) is in principle the G7 responsible officer and must assist, as directed, to the PSAO and OC in the G1-9 functions. Deputise for the OC (fulfil the OC's responsibilities as required in his absence).

Support the planning, coordination and organisation of the Company training programme, overseeing and in conjunction with the PSI/SPSI, owning the conduct and coordination of all range packages. 1RO, 2RO and MPARs, MS Reporting responsibilities for Coy personnel in accordance with JSP 757. Supervise and support the management and planning of resources in conjunction with QPSI and SPSI. Oversee and manage on behalf of CoC all Reserve personnel course applications (CLM, professionally qualifying, upskill and AT) and update all registers. Support the management of the Company Fund and co-ord SNPF grant applications.

5 FUSILIERS are a professional unit who have done individual and group mobilisations which have recently included OP TOSCA (Cyprus) for over 100 personnel, trawls are always available for the right person if this is what you would like to do, Adventure Training is also available both in the UK and overseas including Skiing and Diving.
