PSAO

1. To deploy trained force elements at readiness in role to operations worldwide, in order to support 2 Med Bde contribution to a deployed force. 1. Under the direction of R2IC and in partnership with the Adjutant, RAO, RCMO and ROSO the PSAO is responsible for all areas of G1 in the Detachment
2. Supervise the daily activities of the Det PSI in tandem with the Trg Maj.
3. Supervise the daily activities of the Det RSUSO in tandem with the ROSO.
4. Supervise the daily activities of the Civil Servants within the Det in tandem with the RAO/RAWO
5. Co-ordinate administration of RHQ Personnel and new Detachment planned when location has been determined.
6. Under the direction of the QM, co-ordinate all Detachment and new location G4 activity where applicable.
7. Co-ordinate local G5 activity where appropriate
8. Act as the Det Security Officer.
9. Authorising and processing officer for Reservist pay on PPS.

Staff Experience.
Pers experience.

Good working knowledge of HR administration. Previous experience of working with Army Reserves. Knowledge of the AMS.

FTRS Application through to boarding

Knowledge of Sharepoint desirable. The post to be based at RHQ, but successful applicant will be responsible as the PSAO as part of the planning, setting up and administration of a new Detachment, location yet to be determined.
