"Cadet Training Support Team (CTST North) Training Safety Advisor (TSA)"

Position Role: Provide guidance, advice and assurance to the Cadet Forces on all training matters. Ensure that all activities comply with the Safe System of Training (SST).
Responsibilities:
1.Provide training safety advice and guidance to the Cadet Forces within the CTT AOR
2.Ensure all cadet military/adventurous training is conducted in accordance with the Safe System of Training (SST) and relevant Service publications
3.Assure cadet force training by checking Training Authorisation Form (TAF), EASP, RAM, RASP & Cadet Safe Management System (SMS)
4.Attend meetings and conferences, within the AOR, RPOC and HQRC to advise, update on training/safety matters
5.Deliver initial/refresher training on the SST to Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV)
6.Attend TSA working groups and conferences as directed by OC CTT. Share best practice with other TSAs within the CTT and the wider cadet community
7.Monitor cadet training and report/rectify bad practice if seen. Liaise with training and safety SMEs to ensure current and correct advice is given
8.Any other responsibilities, roles or duties as directed by the Chain of Command
Domestic Considerations: Some weekend, evening and school holiday working will be required to deliver training to cadets and
CFAVS. NOOB to attend ACF/ CCF Camps.
