Vacancy detail

1. Act as the Army’s SME with CRFCA and RF&C (future NDPB) including co-ordinating the reviewing of RFCA strategies, plans and framework documents.
2. Review and monitor the SLA between the Army and the CRFCA that is agreed annually, that stipulates the outputs required from both organisations in pursuit of Army objectives and outcomes. 
3. Co-ordinate Army H2A of the RFCAs including the drafting of SRO comments on CRFCA Annual Reports and Plans and the co-ordination of QPRR reports from RPoCs.
4. Arranging and preparing the SRO (CHC) and GOC RC for CRFCA Customer Boards (CB) and Army RFCA Steering Groups (ARSG) conducting Secretariat functions. Preparing briefs for incoming or outgoing visits between Army/RFCA executives.
5. Cohere HQ RC liaison with HQ Army D Reserves, HQ HC, and Fd Army with emerging initiatives relating to future AR CONEMP so that RFCAs are better aligned with Army strategic objectives
6. Support RF&C and CRFCA evolution into an NDPB establishing linkages and reporting practices, which enables coordination between regional RFCAs and RPoCs to support regional delivery processes.
7. Visit each RPOC annually and attend at least one RFCA Board Meeting in each AO to improve SA and assure best practice in support of Army objectives is shared.
8. .  Be a POC for related AR matters and conduct other related tasks as directed by ACOS Ops Plans HQ RC.
9. This position is short notice and time-bounded; it will finish once the RF&C NDPB transformation programme is completed..
Reserve officer with experience of UK Ops and DE&S, and in-depth contextual understanding of Army/HC/RC ICS policy and direction. Experience working within Home Command or Regional Command is required for this post. A broad understanding of the management of the MOD/Army, Army Reserve and associated structures that supports the RF&C / RFCA interface down to Bde / RPOC level is essential.

FTRS Boarding Process

This is a demanding post that is central to delivering Firm Base activity in sp of ARs and Cadets from RFCAs support to the Army. The transformation of the RF&C/RFCA is organised around Agile PM and delivery processes, which will take place against other emerging Defence initiatives. Due to the limited lifespan of this position, relevant experience is required to ensure that value is provided immediately

Salary Range £66-£76K
