SO2 G7 TRG PLANS

Unit role: HQ 6 (UK) Div exercises 2-Star command responsibilities in order to prepare and generate forces for operations. It is the Fd Army proponent for Land Special Operations (LSO).
Position role: Lead desk officer for Trg Planning & Management within HQ 6UKXX G7 Branch
Lead for Training Management within HQ 6UKXX G7 Branch in accordance with JSP 822.
2. Lead POC for staffing Divisional Training Directive.
3. Manage Training Assurance within 6UKXX and provide direction & guidance to Bde HQs, which may include up to 30 NOOB/year for unit visits.
4. POC for Battlecraft Syllabus (BCS) within 6UKXX, working closely with subordinate Bdes.
5. Contribute to LWC SOTR/SOTT planning to ensure 6UKXX Individual Training requirements are satisfied.
6. Contribute to relevant CIWG/CEB fora to enable adjustment of Individual Training to satisfy 6UKXX operational requirements.
7. Coordinate 6UKXX Lessons process, and Trg & Msn Exploitation to contribute to 6UKXX Force Development and LWC Force Optimisation.
8. Additional tasks as directed by SO1 G7.
Domestic considerations: This post requires the individual to travel and spend nights out of bed within the UK during periods of directed change, often at short notice.

OF3 (substantive or qualified for Acting Higher Rank)
Experience of any 6UKXX functional area highly desirable.

ICSC L or LR, project management skills, experience at LWC or ARITC is highly desirable

Must be an effective staff officer able to operate at 2-Star level. Experience and/or knowledge of Training & Training Management processes will be advantageous.
