Vacancy detail

General: The CQMS is responsible to the Quartermaster for the delivery of quality stores accounting and provide G4 support to a Reserves Company.

Domestic Considerations:

1. Live within a single journey distance of 30 minutes journey time from the Army Reserve Centre (ARC).

2. Be prepared to work one evening per week, one weekend per month & attend a 2-week Annual Continuous Training camp.

3. Routine duties include travel to Manchester Detachment for G4 checks as required.

4. Key holder responsibilities include Out of Hours call out for Armoury & Ammo bunker alarm activations.

Responsibilities:

1. CQMS support to sub-unit (Incl satellite locations) in all G4 matters.

2. Supervision and management of MJDI (all stores) including managing all sub-unit AinUs.

3. The issue, control and update of maintenance records for all sub-unit technical equipment on JAMES LAND System.

4. Actioning of all sub-unit equipment care matters, reporting to the QM on any issues or concerns.

5. Security, accounting, issue and receipt of sub-unit weapons in accordance with policy.
Security, accounting, issue and receipt of sub-unit ammunition holdings in accordance with policy.

6. Management of sub-unit vehicles and supervision of MT SNCO.

7. Day to day HASAW matters in conjunction with caretaker.

8. Ensuring Reserve centre real estate is maintained and fit for purpose through liaison with RFCA.

9. Completion of all G4 tasks as set by QM or PSAO.

10. Carry out the role of sub-unit Fire Officer.
