SO3 Training & Promotion

Position Role: The focal point for all Air Safety training within JHC and HQ.
Responsibilties:
1. Liaise with JHC units, the Centre of Air Safety Training (COaST), Military Aviation Authority Safety Training Error Prevention (STEP) and 22 Training Group Resilience Wing (Human Factors) teams over the planning, provision and allocation of Air Safety training for JHC personnel.
2. Issue all Joining Instructions for all JHC locally run training courses.
3. Manage course training records and competency recording.
4. Keep track on all course funding and spending for the current financial year.
5. Be prepared to liaise with the RAF and RN over shared course resources, in particular for any OoA / individual augmentees as required.
6. Assist SO2 Safety Promotion in developing an engaged JHC Air Safety culture.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
Aviation background or experience / or supporting role.
Knowledge of aviation and MAA regulations.
Previous staff experience advantageous.
Previous experience in the training environment.
