Domestic Considerations: No Service Accommodation, but home working 2 days a week anticipated. Overnight and overseas travel must be expected. Position Role: Planning and management of capability with special responsibility for the Electronic Countermeasures Enterprise. Enable coherence across ECM and CEMA through the development of a coherent programme. Responsibilities: 1. Plan and manage the Electronic Countermeasures Enterprise in accordance with the Capability Management Plan. 2. Manage future Cap Dev activity for ECM capabilities, including the development of new, and the prioritisation of existing, S&T requirements. 3. Ensure cross-Defence ECM and CEMA activities are coherent from a capability planning perspective and that delivery agents are supported through Cap SP and JFC Head Office functions. 4. Lead, monitor and promote relationships with key stakeholders including Other Government Departments; identify opportunities for collaboration. 5. Develop the ECM Enterprise and optimise interoperability with Allies (to incl, but not limited to US, FVEY and NATO) through attendance at relevant WGs and Symposia. 6. Engage with wider technical and academic organisations to scope innovative and disruptive opportunities to optimise the ECM Enterprise. 7. Deputise for SO1 Joint Force Protection where required
