Vacancy detail

Responsibilities:
1. Support with the delivery and planning of a varied programme with a target of 80 events per year.
2. Deliver a bespoke Diversity presentation to selected audiences.
3. Support the development of novel ways of engaging with the public, including social media.
4.. Record all engagement activity onto UCE and AEG forecast of events.
5. Manage ADET databases, including recording engagements, questions asked, audience demographics and feedback.
6. Manage all transport and accommodation for the ADET.
7. Manage and co-ordinate the ADET Calendar and Mailbox.
8. Manage and perform weekly management checks of the ADET equipment.

In order to engage effectively with certain BAME/religious communities it would be desirable for the candidate to have an appropriate second language.

Given the AEG remit to influence diverse communities across the UK, this post would strongly suit applicants from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.  Consideration must therefore be given to the extant ethnic balance of the AEG, in conjunction with Comd AEG, before any decision is taken to interview or make a selection.
