Vacancy detail

Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a Warrant Officer to serve as RF30 Implementation WO at MOD Main BUilding on FTRS(HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 1 Apr 22.

Unit Function

To consider the Review's recommendations. To cost and prioritise for allocation to delivery owners, providing governance, co-ordination, and reporting

Position Role

To cohere and align RF30 across DLODs, focusing on the command WO network and drawing on Reserve non-commissioned perspectives

Responsibilities

1.      To support the DHd and two AHds close working with sS to progress and assure RF30 deliverables, cohering and aligning RF30 across the DLODs.  

2.      To undertake staff work as required, providing written and verbal briefings to a senior audience - Hd RF30, SRO, ACDS RF&C, CDP, and the Minister.

3.      Provide SME input from the perspective of non-commissioned reservists to inform the development and delivery of the Programme.

4.      Lead on forming and maintaining a non-commissioned stakeholder network.

5.      To liaise closely with RF&C colleagues on the progression of the RF30 programme and RF&C's work packages within it.

6.      To deputise for AHds RF30 Implementation as required in uniformed forums.

 

Must be an WO1 of any specialisation. WO2 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent SJAR may be considered.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Considerable PTVR experience

Previous experience of staff work within a HQ or Head Office

Domestic

Based in MB but expected that most work will be completed virtually. Current requirement to attend MB for 3x consecutive days monthly. Must be available virtually for meetings throughout the week. For 2 years, potentially extendable for 1 year.
