Unit Employer Support Officer

Domestic Considerations: 100 RSDs per year. Army/Regular Reserve post, some travel and overnight duty may be required.

Position Role:  Management of relationship between Regiment and civilian employers of Army Reserve personnel

Responsibilities:

1.Provide and deliver Employer Engagement functions for both employers and Reservists, in accordance with the CO’s and Bde’s Directives.

2.Responsible to the CO for the timely coordination of Reservist’s Employer Notification and JPA data accuracy.

3. POC for REED and other agencies in their support of Reservists and Employers.

4. Deliver a high-profile Regimental Employer Engagement event in conjunction with the Adjutant within the scope of available funding and grants.

5. Liaise and support the ROSO iot promote recruiting initiatives and communication to employers.

6. Ensure that the sub-unit complies with legislation and regulations.

7. Support the Employers of mobilised Reservists by providing a direct line of communication between the Regt and Employers.

8. BPT commit circa 100 RSDs each TY IOT fulfil UESO’s responsibilities to required standard in addition to the mandatory 27 RSDs
