The UKStratCom Resilience & Business Continuity Coordinator (Res&BC)  supports the UKStratCom Resilience Lead in promoting Resilience by conducting assurance activity across the TLB.  This opportunity is for an FTRS (HC) post for 24 months. The post holder will sit within the PSyA function and will be responsible for cross-TLB BC Planning and Resilience Risk Management, cohering plans and assessments in support of resilience activity and drive constant improvements through engagement across the TLB. This role will be responsible for the Resilience maturity and BC Planning.

The roles will drive improvement by 
•    Assisting with identifying and documenting BC&Res risks and issues and escalate as required 
•    Contributing to an accurate and up-to-date organisational picture to include risk owners and lines of accountability, and reviewing and refreshing the associated paperwork
•    Support implementation of BC&Res by establishing, maintaining, and reviewing the organisation’s policy and programme activities within the TLB maturity of resilience and associated BC life cycle

Specifically
•    Aid the TLB Res Lead on assurance and governance activity
•    Review and update Resilience paperwork working with HLB Res&BC Focal Points
•    Cohere, review and refresh maturity levels for the HLBs to determine the TLB Resilience Maturity 
•    There will be opportunity for some associated tasks with Counter Sabotage inspections for those with aligned skills.

Assist the TLB Res Lead with completion of the review and refresh of the criticalities work and associated updating of the DefCNI list.


TLB desk level to ensure coherence with the Statement of Critical Asset Resilience (SCAR) requirements iaw JSP503.


TLB desk level to collate and drive completion of Site Resilience Statements by HLBs and check for coherence and accuracy.


TLB desk lead to ensure the accurate and timely completion of TLB and HLB quarterly returns iaw with the TLB Res Management Plan.


Support the TLB Res Lead in Business continuity and resilience record keeping, assurance activities and governance.


Assist the TLB Res Lead to ensure accurate, timely and updated information is inputted to assurance reports.


Work with TLB res Lead and the security risk management team on cohering TLB/HLB Resilience risks.
TLB desk lead to monitor and map resilience maturity from HLBs with dip tests and completion of the LogBook.


TLB desk lead to ensure TLB compliance with ARMS assurance tool and identify lessons and activity to drive improved assurance.


Undertake other duties as delegated by the TLB Res Lead and/or PSYA UKStratcom.

Must be an OF2/3 of any specialisation. 

OF4 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OF3.

Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.

Must possess an in-date SC.

Experience of Policy and Programme Management Profession, Security profession desirable.
Experience of Business Continuity/resilience, risk management or related role in industry or a related qualification/s e.g. the Business Continuity Diploma, Governance skills desirable.
