| Domestic Considerations: 3 Cdo Bde is a VHR formation. Travel to RHQ and troop outstations, deployment on 6-8 weekends per year and 2-week annual exercise, Squadron Orderly Officer duties approximately 1 week in 7. Must hold a valid driving licence. Responsibilities: 1. Advise the CoC on all J4 matters, deputising for the Quartermaster when required.. 2. Account for all ammunition stocks and technical and miscellaneous stores held within the Sqn.. 3. Provide J4 advice during all inspections. 4. Carry out the duties of the Unit Fire Safety Manager, Unit Safety Manager and Unit Radiation Protection Officer. 5. Work through RFCA to maintain the estate infrastructure, reporting damages and faults, and maintaining all relevant registers. 6. Maintain records of demands, receipts and holdings and carry out the duties of the Unit Application Administrator. 7. Supervise Civil Service staff (storepersons and caretaker) and provide career management advice for Sqn J4 personnel. 8. On behalf of the CoC promote the Unit Equipment Care Policy. |
