Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OR6 to serve as the CSU SNCO J1 at MOD Corsham on FTRS(HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of June 24.
The successful applicant will work within the 4-person CSU Corsham Coord Team. Other members are 1 x Army SNCO (FTRS) OpsO, 1 x RAF SNCO TG17 and 1 x RAF Flt Lt Executive Officer (FTRS). Occasional remote working may be possible but is not guaranteed. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to successfully attain SC and possibly DV security clearances. Applicants who believe that there could be obstacles to obtaining such clearances should notify the post sponsor as soon as possible. Attendance will be expected at monthly working weekends unless exceptional circumstances arise.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary Mil Admin point of contact for tri-service CSU personnel.
In partnership with the SNCO Mil Admin, initiate and manage completion of OJARs and SJARs for CSU personnel.
Action personnel administration, including JPA amendments, pay/attendance claims, travel claims and allowances, Certificates of Efficiency and bounty payments.
Carry out JPA Career Management actions including Change of Engagement, Termination and Recruitment for CSU personnel.
Manage/update JPA Course action for CSU personnel.
Arrange travel and accommodation for CSU personnel and carry out Move and Track.
Ensure that all CMCA (JPA Management Checks) are undertaken in a timely manner.
Ensure all monthly register checks are undertaken.
Assist with organisation of monthly CSU working weekends.
Administer personnel joining, leaving and transferring into the unit.
Managing visitors to CSU.
Organising site passes and MoD90s for CSU personnel.
Act as LSO for the purpose of MODNET password resets for CSU pers.
Act as an Authorised Demander in respect of submitting requests for MODNET account creation and similar actions.
Must be an OR6 of any RN Logistics Wrtr/AGC SPS/People Ops. OR4 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent SJAR will be considered.
OR7/8/9 applicants, if successful, will only be paid as and wear the rank of OR6.
Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
Ideal candidate should be proactive, comfortable working in a small team and capable of dealing with a large amount of information from a diverse group of individuals.
Candidate must be comfortable using Apple OS or Android messaging applications.
Candidate must have good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
Experience in a Reservist environment.
Experience of working in a tri-service environment.
An understanding of Defensive Cyber Operations.
