Domestic Considerations: MaFlexibility to work in either Andover or Upavon, and following a probation period work from home 1-2 days per week. May require travel on a monthly basis to Hermitage and Aldershot.
Position Role: SO2 Land Special Operations Capability Plans is a capability development project manager for Land SOF, whilst acting as the contracts manager, understanding capability gaps, developing and managing contractual solutions. 
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct project management for Land SOF capability development, advancing the brigades outputs, effectiveness, and interoperability.
2. Support broader capability development, including doctrine, training, organisation, equipment and personnel.
3. Support the development of Land SOF capabilities management plans for long term coherence.
4. Understand existing Land SOF contracts, utilising existing frameworks to develop capabilities whilst working alongside the requirement users.
5. Maintain, renew and create contract solutions to meet Land SOF capability requirements ensuring contracts remain agile & meet demands.
6. Writing of Business Cases and Tasking Order Forms whilst managing applications to the relevant scrutiny boards.
7. Ensure contractors are providing Value for Money (VfM).
8. Cohere and prioritise user requirements against viable contractual solutions, whilst ensuring processes in accordance with commercial policy.
9. Conduct contract finance management to ensure efficient budget management forecasting allocated funds alongside payment of invoices via CP&F.
