RSDs: The post offers a high attendance level and hybrid working days when appropriate, with the opportunity to work upwards of 48 days per year. Working pattern can involve week days and weekends during modular and consolidated courses.
Post Role: Clerk in a Sub Unit:
1. Responsible for all G1/G7 clerical matters including updating all course nominal rolls during training.2. Ensuring that all recruit attendance status is recorded on TAFMIS.3. Be fully conversant with all aspects of Phase 1 training which ATU (North) provides.4. Assist the CSM with maintaining course records and course folders on Share Point.5. Update and maintain JPA occurrences for Coy staff when required. 6. Assist and advise Coy staff with JPA/ModNet issues during courses.7. Undertake any additional tasks as required by the CoC.
ATU (North) trains the Army's next generation of Army Reserve soldiers. We deliver demanding, realistic but safe basic training that develops the character of our soldiers so that they can embark on their military career with confidence and a will to win. We teach the values and standards of the British Army using inspirational role models and ensure that our soldiers can do the basics brilliantly.

Further Information:
We are a satellite training location who offer reservist the ability to train locally in a modular fashion. The unit is small with approximately 70 personnel. With our HQ in Strensall and 2 training companies based in Strensall and Liverpool. We welcome and train reserve recruits from all over the UK.
This role will also give you the opportunity to undertake training courses that may not be available to you through your own unit, such as skill at arms, range qualifications, CBRN, BCD and Map Reading.
This is a reservist role that can offer up upwards of 48 days per year, working pattern can involve weekdays and weekends during modular and consolidated courses.
