ROLE
As a senior Non Commissioned soldier within the sub unit and Bn their principle duties are to set the standards of professionalism and conduct expected from the soldiers within the sub unit and Bn; an understanding of the Army's Values and Standards are key to this.
This post is responsible for coordinating the delivery of Reserve Para Basic Training and as the senior soldier within the Coy the holder will be expected to lead by personal example and possess the professional ability and strength of character to ensure that soldiers follow the example.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Company is correctly administered in the field and ARCLiaise with and support the PSIsCompile and maintain attendance recordsMaintain Company recordsMaintain and record ITR recordsSupport OCAdvise and support NCOs
This is a Parachute Infantry unit and AAPS (P Coy) is essential in its senior soldiers.
Commitment and personal adherence to the Army's V&S are essential requirements of the role.
It is essential that the incumbent is familiar with IT and able to understand and use the Army's IX platforms
4 PARA is a demanding Reserve unit and this is a senior rank and important role within the Bn. Applicants should consider whether they can be sufficiently committed and able to attend national training events and support outputs before applying.
Experience of working within Army training or as an instructor is highly desirable.
The position will be boarded by 4 PARA using the Core Operating Model soon after closing date.
Serving Regular applicants must have a Board and Offer agreement from WF Plans in place prior to Boarding. These are arranged during the Digital Transfer application process.
