Domestic Considerations: FTRS(HC). Regular attendance in Army HQs is required (no less than 50% of working time to be in Army Headquarters), with some specific scale A attendance throughout the year, opportunities for hybrid working are possible.
Position Role:  To develop, direct and deliver the Army’s wholeforce WF Plan for the AGC (RMP, SPS, ETS) consistent with Future Soldier Defence Strategic Workforce Planning direction and the Workforce Cost Envelope.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop resourced workforce plans to deliver full workforce for the AGC(RMP, ETS, SPS), interacting with Army Strat-Org, Army WF Policy, Analysis Army, Fd Army, APC and other orgs.
2. Provide decision support and advice on workforce planning, structures and policy in relation to the AGC.
3. Pers Strat (A) lead on the production of the AGC Army Workfore Planning Requirement and AGC Demand Plan, close liaison with 3* HQ Org branches, ARTD and CDs.
4. Input to AGC Workforce Planning Levers, promotion quotas, commissioning numbers and intake requirements including effectiveness, measuring and monitoring.
5. Input to reports or plans and other tasks as directed by SO1 WF Plans AGC  or AH WF Plans.
6. Support SO1 AGC WF Plans and AH WF plans as required across the Regular Workforce.
Knowledge of Army HQs and broad understanding of oTLB, essential to have worked in a 3* or 4* HQs previously.
Must have sound IT skills, especially Excel.
Must have previous knowledge of workforce planning.
Ideally to have some experience of AGC CEGs, roles, structures and career management.

To work amongst a full time team in a very high tempo organisation working to deliver to 2 x 2* Pillars, where all team members work together across all workforce types and able to support each other often wider than our usual remit.
Previous experience of workforce planning and an understanding of the Policy documents essential.
Requires a proactive individual, who can meet tight deadlines, short notice tasks with accurracy and detail.
